Hotel in front of Bapu bhawan near secretariat metro station. Let me give brief summary of the horror we went through. We were given room no 302, dirty items bed, blanket, sofa. Lift was of some 80's era. Reluctant staff, unnoticeable entrance etc. In old days it would have been a good hotel but now not more than a lodge with higher price.

Hotel having good locality but maintenance of hotel is very poor, room & wash room is not properly maintained, food quality is ok. Reception staff are not so cooperative. i have stuck in lift during my recently visit.

Charan hotel is located near the secretariat, location is good, as the main city centre i.e. Hazratganj is also nearby. But coming to the hotel, it is an average, or I would say a below average place to stay. Very unfriendly staff, as they know that anyhow there place will be full all the time, as all the government employees prefer this hotel. But trust me if you can manage at any other place don't waste your money here. Below par services! Just the monopoly is what they are earning with.
